Industrial designer Emily Rothschild creates some amazing jewelry, but my favorite piece of hers is a locket that contains a USB flash drive that can hold up to 2GB of your precious memories.
Her pieces are on sale today on Fab.com (a.k.a. my favorite flash sale site ever), though the USB pieces are all “on hold.” But head over to her website to check out her full stock of creative and functional jewelry!
Members-only shopping company BeachMint (see their previous success story, JewelMint), has launched another celebrity-backed project for shopping: StyleMint. With the help of the sisters Olsen, you can fill out your closet with fashionable t-shirts that suit your style.
I have to say, after doing their multiple choice “personal style” quiz, the top pick for me (see above) is pretty dead on with my look. I’ve been happy with all of my JewelMint purchases so far, so I’m looking forward to trying out StyleMint as well!
Estonian startup Fits.Me has offered a promising solution: a virtual fitting robot that shape-shifts according to your measurements, letting you see precisely how a garment would look on your body. Until now, though, it’s only been available to men. Last week, Fits.Me announced that it had finally developed a Female FitBot. The bot’s expected to launch at Hawes & Curtis, the British clothing retailer that debuted a male FitBot last May.

I have so many questions.
Drug Rugs a.k.a. Baja Hoodies
Good news: If you’re wearing one of these suckers, you can use the words gnarly and brah unironically. Kidding! You can, however, hang out at the beach once the sun goes down and, if things go as I always hope they will, eat marshmallows toasted/charred over a bonfire. —erica
1) Vena…
I am totally torn by these sweaters. Everything about them screams “burnout pot-smoking hippie from the suburbs”, and yet really good brands keep making them in very cute versions.
What do you think of the “It” sweater of the summer season, the Baja Hoodie?
